Q3: Where did you learn English?
A3: I started to learning English in junior high school and continued in high school, and also attended an English conversation school for two years during high school. Those lessons gave me a good foundation, but my English improved the most when I participated in a three-month study abroad program in Australia, which included a homestay.
Q4: Why don’t you tell us a little a little about yourself?
A4-01: Ever since I was young, I’ve had a position for learning about or traveling to other countries, and I’ve always be curious about other cultures. I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to have a career in something related to business and using English. As my CV indicates, I have a degree in business administration with an emphasis on international business. I enjoy working with people from many places, and prefer working as part of a team as opposed to working by myself, but I’m comfortable either way. I welcome the challenge of leadership roles and am very goal-oriented.
A4-02: Currently, I work as an assistant manager in the Marketing Division of ABC Trading Company’s XYZ brand. I learned that you had an opening for brand manager and I could utilize my experience and skills to contribute to your company. I am a goal-oriented person with strong team building skills. As for my English ability, I have teleconferences and emails in English every day and I have no problem with that. My TOEIC score is 860. I really enjoy establishing new brands with team members with diverse backgrounds.

A5: I understand you produce network security solutions for medium to large size companies in 23 countries. According to your website, 80 percent of your clients are from other countries, and I found it especially interesting that you have made aggressive inroads into Southeast Asian markets. I’d be excited to join your team and help you develop those markets, utilizing my English skills and knowledge of marketing and Asian cultures.
